Led by knowledgeable guides, you’ll venture into fields and hedgerows, learning to identify a surprising array of wild herbs, berries, and greens. Discover the subtle flavours and rich histories of plants often overlooked or misunderstood – nature’s secret larder awaits.

On the day, you will be looking for the wild fruits, herbs, mushrooms and plants that are all around the woods by Heath Farm, and teaching you key identification features / preferred habitats to give a good introduction to foraging for your own wild food journey going forwards.

MOSAIC MIRROR

MAKING WORKSHOP

Calling all craft enthusiasts. Join the renowned mosaic artist Becky Paton for a unique workshop at Heath Farm. In this intimate session capped at only 10 participants, Becky will guide you through the art of creating your very own mosaic mirror – a beautiful and functional piece to take home and cherish.

You'll gain valuable hands-on experience under Becky's expert tutelage. Learn the tricks of the trade, from selecting and cutting mosaic pieces to adhering them to create a stunning design.

UNLEASH YOUR INNER ARTIST
The workshop will be held in the scenic event space, featuring a charming woodland stage with a canopy and a nearby shepherd's hut offering a covered catering area. While you're encouraged to bring a packed lunch, tea, coffee, and biscuits will be provided to keep you fueled throughout the creative process.

Becky Paton brings a wealth of experience to the table. Having studied Public Art and Design at the prestigious Chelsea School of Art, she specialises in mosaic art. Becky draws inspiration from nature, particularly the captivating world of insects and birds. Her passion also extends to portraiture, with a life's work collection titled "Warrior Women" featuring historical figures like Queen Elizabeth I and Joan of Arc.
