| Sheboygan County Activity and Nutrition (SCAN) Action Team Update |

The Sheboygan County Activity and Nutrition Coalition has been working together this summer with the SCIO Farmers Market and the Sheboygan County Food Bank collecting fresh produce for the Produce for Pantries program. A total of 1,585lbs of fresh, local produce has been donated so far this summer by the SCIO Farmer's market and distributed through the Sheboygan County Food Bank.

CTIPP Community Action Network (CAN): September-December 2024 Advocacy Series
Participants will engage in consistent networking, resource-sharing, and educational opportunities to advance trauma-informed policies and practices nationwide. This series emphasizes collaboration through dedicated breakout groups and comprehensive learning experiences.
The first Wednesday of the month will offer office hours with CTIPP Executive Director Jesse Kohler (optional), and the third Wednesday will feature a presentation, reflection, breakout groups, and discussion (we highly encourage joining all four months).

Mental Health America LakeshoreSuicide Awareness and Prevention TrainingQuestion, Persuade Refer (QPR) utilizes evidence-based, innovative, and practical suicide prevention tools to reduce suicidal behaviors and save lives. Maternal Health Innovation Bridge Projects Due September 24, 2024
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS), Division of Public Health (DPH) announces the availability of funds to establish and execute Maternal Health Innovation Bridge Projects. Projects will need to focus on activities that improve maternal health service delivery through addressing critical gaps in direct clinical care, workforce, partnership and/or community engagement. Eligible projects must identify services for Wisconsin Native American/American Indian populations or be in the Southern region, Northern and/or Western region serving the Medicaid population, or those who are ineligible for health insurance.

Mobile Narcotic Treatment Program/Opioid Treatment Program Due September 27, 2024
The Division of Care and Treatment Services is seeking applications for mobile narcotic treatment programs/opioid treatment programs to expand access to medications for opioid use disorder in areas of the state where this treatment option is not readily available.

Substance Use Disorder Treatment Platform Due October 2, 2024
The Division of Care and Treatment Services is seeking applications to award a contract for a substance use disorder treatment platform that would serve as an online public resource for identifying substance use disorder treatment providers in the state.

Urban Youth Primary Substance Use Prevention Due October 4, 2024
The Division of Care and Treatment Services is seeking applications from Tribal nations and counties interested in providing primary substance use prevention services for youth in grades K-12 in urbanized areas.

Community Partnerships for Diversion from Youth Justice Due October 11, 2024
The Division of Care and Treatment Services is seeking proposals for community partnerships to divert youth with substance use and co-occurring disorders from entering the justice system.

Parent Peer Supports in Youth and Family Crisis Continuum Due October 24, 2024
The Division of Care and Treatment Services is seeking applications to embed certified parent peer specialists into the crisis continuum to assist parents/guardians who have youth (ages 17 and younger) who are experiencing a mental health and/or substance use crisis.

2024 Intoxicated Driver Program Supplemental/Emergency Funding Due October 25, 2024
The Division of Care and Treatment Services is accepting applications from approved Tribal nation treatment agencies and counties for supplemental or emergency funding for Intoxicated Driver Program services provided in 2024.

Youth and Family Support and Education Due October 30, 2024
The Division of Care and Treatment Services is seeking applications to provide family support and education throughout Wisconsin that will foster youth, family, and community involvement as Wisconsin's Children's System of Care works toward achieving its vision of children and families are valued, understood, and supported in their communities through advocacy for improvements to the children's system of care, education on the purpose and benefits of parent peer specialists, and implementation of a statewide parent peer support system.
