PARKER, CO - Michael Fields, President of Advance Colorado Institute, issued the following statement today calling for a special legislative session to address the liberal-created property tax crisis facing our state:
“Colorado’s liberal controlled legislature has decided to pass last minute legislation on property taxes that would simultaneously still cause the largest tax increase in history and end TABOR refunds for Coloradans in the next few years. Prop HH isn’t the solution - and voters should reject it. Instead, the Governor should call for a special session to cap property taxes without taking our TABOR refunds. He has until the end of the year to do it.”
