As we move closer to a historic election in November, it is important to have a voting plan in place and know in advance to ensure your vote will count. Go here: https://indianavoters.in.gov/

There will be a list of the public questions that will be on your ballot during the next election. There will be a question regarding the Ratification of State Constitutional Amendment and questions asking whether individual Indiana judges should be retained.

Just what is the Indiana State Government good for?

As your next State Rep., I will ensure every dollar is spent well. I will keep asking you how you want your dollars spent and to keep investing in what matters most to you. We need a plan on where we are going with the services our taxes pay for over time.

As I talk with more and more voters, it is clear that most folks do not know what their taxes are buying in terms of goods and services.

Indiana state government provides for:

• Elementary and High Schools 
• Colleges and Universities 
• Health and Hospitals
• Highways and Roads 
• Police, Courts and Corrections, Fire Protection
• Public Welfare, Housing and Community Development 
• Clean Water, Sewer, Solid Waste, and Sanitation Services
• Parks, Libraries, Walking Trails, Sidewalks, and Other Public Spaces: 

So, the next time someone says they want to cut your taxes, ask yourself which of these you want to give up.

On October 8th – Danville High School students will be hosting a “Meet the Candidate” event starting at 6:30 pm 100 Warrior Way, Danville. This will include a presentation from opposing candidates from 7 to 9 pm so you can learn how we differ in addressing your concerns. It’s all about being an informed voter!

• What are your thoughts about our schools and the recent changes made regarding the diploma process?
  
  
• Do property taxes seem fair to you?
  
  
• Are you secure with a good paying job that sustains you and your family in a way that is important to you?
  
  
• Is your healthcare insurance sufficient to ensure adequate coverage?

I want to personally invite each and everyone of you to attend. It would be my pleasure to meet you and find out what is important to you as your future State Rep.

My volunteers are the strength behind what we do every single day, whether it is dropping literature at your homes, of calling you to make contact and invite you into the election process.
