If you have not voted in the Democratic primary election, please do so now. Information about the Democratic candidates can be found here and information about early voting in the Democratic Primary can be found here. We have two candidates running for attorney general (Jay Jones and Shanon Taylor) and we have six candidates running for lieutenant governor (Alex Bastani, Ghazala Hashmi, Babur Lateef, Aaron Rouse, Victor Salgado and Levar Stoney).
If you vote by mail, mail your ballot or bring it to the absentee ballot drop box at the Hanover Early Voting Center. It is available from May 2 until 7 p.m. on June 17.
In-person early voting runs from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday, ending at 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 14. Two early voting Saturdays are June 7 and June 14 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Curbside voting is available during these hours. We also plan to have a booth at the Hanover Early Voting Center on Saturday, June 14. Contact us at info@hvademocrats.com to help.
Primary day is Tuesday, June 17. We will need volunteers to help us man the polling places. Here is the sign-up information. Please help as this will be a good way of getting at our voters.
