Suspects and UHR identified Using Investigative Genetic Genealogy Seventy cases solved and Firebird can help you solve yours. All cases accepted and we work on a case unril it is solved. Flat fees (capped) for law enforcement. Contact us through our website at Firebird Forensics.org or contact Barbara Rae-Venter at barbararv@FirebirdForensics.org.
We have two cases that will be especially difficult to solve because they have very low matches in both GED match and Family Tree DNA. The first is a double child rape in Cleveland OH and the second is a homicide in Fife WA. The bio ancestry for the suspect in the OH case is 40% West Slavic, 30% Southern European (10% each Greece, Malta and Sardinia) and 30%Western European and for the WA case 70% West Slavic and 30%East Slavic. If you or your ancestors are from any of these regions it would potentially help us solve these cases if you would do a DNA test for us.
We have several Unidentified Human Remains cases for whom the bio ancestry is primarily Latin American. These cases can be difficult for several reasons, including that Latin Americans are underrepresented in both GED match and Family Tree DNA. If you or your ancestors are from Latin America, it would potentially help us solve these cases if you would do a DNA test for us.
If You Are Able To Help - I will send you two free Family Tree DNA kits, one for you and one for your oldest living relative available for testing in exchange for your family history, preferably back to your great grandparents, but whatever you know, even if it is just your parents. Please contact me at my email address below if you are able to help.

From Wall Street Journal Review of I Know Who You Are :
“Like a good crime writer, Ms. Rae-Venter has a gift for storytelling. She describes the Golden State investigation cases—their complications and vexations, dead ends and breakthroughs—with enviable clarity, suitable detail and a fine sense of pace. Her scientific explanations are concise and her revelations are dramatic. “I Know Who You Are” is a remarkably exciting book.” ‘I Know Who You Are’ Review: To Catch a Predator
