Talk about Bating

Over the past couple of weeks I have found myself on more then one occasion chatting to people I know about my bate practice. As someone who both writes about and promotes masturbation through this newsletter and associated channels, as well as running an in person bate club, I find myself in situations where I have to talk about it.
When I start to divulge this information about myself there is usually two types of responses. The first is one of humour and amusement. They find it funny that I spend large amounts of my free time involved in this activity. Some have even thought it was ridiculous that anyone would spend that much time masturbating in the first place. For these people they have never considered masturbation as a sexual activity worthy of discussion or even consideration as a sexual activity worth engaging it.

The other type of response is more one of curiosity and admiration. These people usually find what I am doing as something which they want to know more about. For them they are interested in what it is about and how it plays out in my everyday life. They are more likely to understand that sexual activity can take many forms and that they are equally all valued.
Which leads me to thinking about how it is we become and get into being a bator. There's a difference between those that bate casually and those who identify a large part of themselves as bators. For me I identify as a bator largely because I get most of my sexual satisfaction from bating with myself and others. I enjoying bating so much that I devote large amounts of my personal time to it and search for new ways to explore it.

Bating in this way is a sexual activity in and of itself. Through it you can and do explore your sexual self as well as your sexual needs and wants. It is through the penis that we can feel all sorts of pleasures and some of those are only available to us when we bate. So why wouldn't anyone want to explore those pleasures?
It is all of our responsibility as bators to promote the benefits to everyone. The best thing is that people don't have to identify as bators to enjoy bating. They can participate whenever they feel like it. But in order to participate we need to make them feel welcomed and included in our conversations. We need to teach them about edging, about gooning, and all the other things that we as bators talk about.

My call to action is to talk about bating. Talk about it with your friends. Talk about it with your family. Talk about it on the internet. The more we all talk about it, the more people will see it as a part of our everyday lives.
Till next time bators
