We praise God for hearing and answering our prayers for Women's Conference. Thank you for praying along with us! Though we entrust our petitions to the Lord in secret, we rejoice to share evidences of His faithfulness to respond to our requests such that it encourages you. Here are just a few specific ways the Lord answered our prayers:
Teachers All our teachers were well prepared, healthy, and shared meaningful content that the students deeply appreciated. Many students commented on how relevant the sessions were to their lives, giving them concrete ways of how to apply the teaching as they head back to campus.

Worship There's nothing like hearing the beautiful voices of over 200 women passionately singing praise to the Lord! The worship team led us through songs of great joy and deep heartache to shepherd the students through thoughtful response from the weekend teaching. Curious what we sang? Check out the playlist!

Attendance & Cancellations While we did have a handful of last minute cancellations or no-shows, the Lord was faithful to still send over 190 students to enjoy the weekend! That's so encouraging! One student even delighted in the crowded spaces saying, "I enjoyed the 'huge sleepover' vibes of the camp." :)

Media & Event Planning Team It was quite the tiring weekend of planning and execution, but our team did an awesome job making everything come together! Kate also felt pretty energized throughout the weekend, which she definitely attributes to only the Lord who sustains her through this busy time!

Student Understanding & Continued Fruit Wow! The Lord was definitely at work in the hearts of these ladies! Instead of speaking for them, read below a number of quotes from the students on how they are processing and applying the teaching and even continuing to learn from the weekend as the semester comes to a close.

"[I learned] that Jesus is my true home and in Him I am secure - to run to Him in anger, sadness, anxiety, and to know that He is before all of my fears and dreams. Dwelling in Him is the ultimate comfort and care, not school, activities, or relationships"
"I went to the workshop about communicating with others and it really made me stop and think about how I communicate with those around me and how I can better represent Christ in every conversation that I pursue."
"I can not bear fruit on my own, I can search the world for other things but I only bear fruit when attached to Jesus’ vine."
"No matter what decision I make God will work through it."
"Since I've been back from Women's Conference, I have started memorizing scripture with my roommate (we're at the end of our first week). I have also been more intentional with blocking out time to read my bible and pray every morning."
"No matter how much I try to know it all, fix it all, and be everywhere I never will because only God can so instead of stressing myself out trying to do the impossible I should lean on Him and ask for His help."
"Obedience brings joy. I will obey, denying my flesh, knowing I have greater joy."
"Remaining in Christian community helps me to abide in Christ."
"I learned that pruning is part of the process of being connected to the vine. It hurts, and it doesn't look pretty, but it strengthens me, and I have God to lean on in the pruning and the community that he has provided for me!"

The semester isn't quite over yet! Students are busy finishing their last assignments, group projects, presentations, and exams, eagerly looking forward to summer break. Before many of them head home, they'll join us at Focus, a week long event at the end of the semester to spend time in God's word and fellowship.
Please be praying for this event in the weeks leading up to it in our final planning! Not sure what to pray? There are many of the same requests for Focus as we have for Women's Conference. Please be praying for:
Our Staff - whether they are teaching, leading worship, or ministering personally to students, please pray that the would have discerning minds, compassionate hearts, and gospel wisdom in all they say and do during this event. Pray also that they would have energy and stamina for these long weeks at the end of the semester.
Our Students - Pray that they would register and commit to spending this first week of summer break with the Lord. Pray for the Lord to soften their hearts and prepare their ears to hear the words of the gospel. Pray that students would feel refreshed and equipped after attending Focus. Pray that any students who aren't Christians or are wrestling with the Lord would deepen their understanding of the gospel and fully place their hope and trust in Christ.
You can also be praying for the specific schools attending each week!

Prayers & Praises - Praise God for his answered prayers at Women's Conference! Pray that ladies would continue to learn from the teaching and see fruit in their lives as they abide in Christ more and more.
- Pray for Focus! Use the prayers listed above to pray for our students and staff in this final week of preparations for this event!
- Pray for us as we are still in quite a busy season with our work. Between conferences for Kate and the final steps in the new financial software TJ has been working to implement, our days can feel long and to-do lists unending. Pray for perseverance and rest in this season.
- Please continue to pray for us as we continue to attempt fertility treatments. Pray that they would be effective, but also pray that our hearts would remain content in serving Lord in our current season, trust with hope that He hears our cries.

Thank you for your continued prayers and support. We are constantly in awe of God's work on the college campus and delight to share it with you. If there are any ways that we can pray for you, please let us know!
In Christ, TJ & Kate Renninger

With the Spring weather, we've been enjoying going on hikes in the past month - even enjoying a beautiful Easter hike with friends! We've also had the opportunity to go camping for the weekend, and though it rained most of the day, we were able to rest well and enjoy God's creation.

We attend the banquet for our local Pregnancy Resource Clinic - a Christian organization providing medical care, education, and encouragement to the Penn State community. It was encouraging to see so many come out to support this work!

Kate had the sweet opportunity to actually ATTEND a conference with her home church, New Life Bible Fellowship Church. It's a very different experience being on the receiving end of an event, but so restful and encouraging to learn from God's word in Colossians, and fellowship with so many godly women!
