CHRISTMAS
IN CHELTENHAM
Christmas is coming to Cheltenham, and with it comes a long list of festive family fun activities. The countdown begins this Thursday 16 November with festivities continuing throughout the weekend as the town is transformed into a winter wonderland with twinkling lights, Christmas carols, and festive characters.

The Launch of Christmas
At 4pm on Thursday 16 November, the town will officially launch the Christmas season with a special light switch-on ceremony. Choirs and performers will fill the air with festive cheer, and a troupe of figure skaters will wow onlookers with an impressive ice-skating routine at the Cheltenham Ice Rink.

Ice Skating Fun
The Cheltenham Ice Rink is the jewel in the crown of Cheltenham's Christmas celebrations. Open daily from 17 November to 1 January, the rink is perfect for everyone, from seasoned pros to first-timers. There's even a free spectator area so you can cheer on your friends and family from the sidelines.
Christmas Gift Market
A big Christmas Gift Market will be open from Thursday 16 - Sunday 19 November, stocked with unique gifts for everyone on your list. From handmade crafts to delicious food and drink, there's something for everyone at the market.

Elf Trail
Families can enjoy the free Christmas Elf Trail from 16 November to 22 December. Spot 16 cheeky elves hiding in windows around the town centre and solve a festive anagram.

In addition to the Christmas Gift Market, ice skating, and Elf Trail, there are plenty of other festive activities to enjoy in Cheltenham. Visit the Christmas lights trail, take a horse-drawn carriage ride, or enjoy a festive feast at one of the town's many restaurants and pubs.
