Founder's Note

As 2025 draws to a close, I want to take a moment to extend my personal thanks to each and every one of you who have created, supported and followed us throughout the year. Your ongoing engagement, feedback, and continued encouragement have meant the world to our team and have been the driving force behind everything we do. We are grateful to share stories, photos and meet new faces in our communities we build and create together. Thanks to all who contributed to our tours!

Sanctuary

Looking good in print! Thanks to Sanctuary magazine for the warm local write up. Myrna Haskell and her team work endless hours to keep us up-to-date with the latest events, travels, reflections, educators and community leaders on their own journeys.

Arts Mid-Hudson

What a nice surprise to be awarded 'Arts in Education' from Arts Mid-Hudson. With so many other awardees in attendance, this was a very special night complete with speeches, a beautiful hand-crafted award surrounded with a plethora of artists, fine atmosphere, live music and delectable edibles.

Esparanza Dutchess County Hispanic Organization, Inc.

Esparanza Dutchess County awarded me the following week with recognition of my exemplary contributions in Community Service in the Community. So proud of the work I have done and continue to do throughout the Hudson Valley. The ceremony was first class with Mayor Yvonne Flowers and Senator Robert Rollison in attendance. Thanks to everyone for this unexpected award!

Adriance Library

Creating art outside under the shaded trees at the Adriance library, we made tissue paper ice cream suncatchers. So fun! A true family extended affair while sharing art stories, library benefits and smiles all around. Thanks to all who attended our creative afternoon. I met so many wonderful artists who live in the community and contributed to the fun.

Scenic Hudson

We love working with Scenic Hudson! The opportunity to work in green space parks in Poughkeepsie, Kingston and Newburgh, NY was breathtaking. Learning about the local environment and surroundings, we were able to incorporate art with found objects and that made Summer Project memories.

Kimlin Cider Mill

Beading pumpkins were a hit at the Kimlin Cider Mill's annual fund-raising event in October. With sunny warm weather, hot cider, fresh food and live entertainment, lots of artists created beaded pumpkins with a twist of added butterflies and color ladybugs.

Germania Christkindlmarkt

With cool air filling the day, the market was filled with vendors and authentic German fare. These fun ornaments were assembled with confetti, stickers and twine was added for hanging on a holiday tree, backpack and/or window decoration. It is always added fun when a 3D project is constructed and figuring out where the perfect placement is at home.

Walkway Over the Hudson

A few weeks ago, I participated with Santa and Mrs. Claus on the Walkway Over the Hudson. With hot cocoa, cookies and art events, I was Santa's helper passing out holiday trinkets for all the children who attended. MERRY CHRISTMAS!
