According to recent polls the Harris/Walz team is ahead in the presidential race in Virginia, but TAN readers remember the bitter disappointment in 2016 when the polls told us Hilary had a comfortable lead nationwide, only to find that the polls were wrong. This year we will take nothing for granted and we will work to turn out every vote. The next HDC “meeting” will be a Day of Action! On Sunday, October 13 from 1 to 5pm, in place of our regular monthly meeting, the Hanover Democratic Committee and the Virginia Victory Coordinated Campaign are hosting a Day of Action! Starting at 1 pm come to The Gathering Place at RVA Around the Table (155 Junction Drive). We will be launching canvassers to knock doors in Hanover, making phone calls on site to Hanover voters, writing postcards (bring postage or money for postage!), giving out signs, signing up & training poll greeters, and registering voters (online). Plus, we'll have drinks and snacks. Although registration is not required, it’s helpful if you can so the campaign folks know how many people to expect. You can do so here.
