Lee County is pleased to announce Causeway Islands Park is now open with its first phase of amenities. The long-awaited reopening of the beach park on the Sanibel Causeway happened May 1, and was the first time that visitors can enjoy the shoreline since the devastation of Hurricane Ian in September 2022.
