Get Your City Officials Involved |
|
The National Wildlife Federation's Mayors Monarch Pledge is a national effort to engage mayors (or the principal leader of any city, town, county or HOA) in monarch butterfly conservation. Mayors are committing to both restore habitat in your community and encourage your residents to do the same. Pledge participants will receive recognition by the National Wildlife Federation – a win for conservationists and local officials alike! Find out if your mayor is on board, and if they aren't already, encourage them to take the pledge using these resources. Deadline is April 30th.

From the government and local businesses to ranchers and residents, we’ve proven successful since 2016 at bringing Oklahomans together to ensure
our landscapes and gardens support thriving monarch migrations for
generations to come. But we still have a ways to go and need your support to help save the
monarch butterfly populations from further decline.
Can we count you in?
