Know before you go

  1. 4U-14U Games start Saturday, September 10th. See the game schedule for the first 2 weeks. More coming soon -- watch ayso13.org

  2. 6U-14U Practices start Tuesday, September 6th! If your assigned practice schedule is on Monday and you'll miss your first practice on 9/5 because of Labor Day-- you can make it up any day this week at the Rose Bowl Area H. Click here for details.

  3. Need more information on practices and assignments? Click here for details.

  4. Referees, be sure to confirm your referee assignment and request an on-field mentor with the ref scheduling app.

  5. Please hydrate before and during practices and games! Bring extra water, ice, or misters to help keep your children cool. Ensure your child wears plenty of sunscreen, and feel free to bring any umbrellas or pop-up tents for extra shade.

  6. Parent Reminders: The Parent Pledge has a handy map of fields on the back, plus phone numbers if you need help. Print it and pack it with you.
    **Please do not bring any pets to the soccer field.
    **Players are not allowed to wear jewelry during games - no exceptions are allowed. 

  7. Volunteer Reminders: Please remember to complete all of the required Volunteer Training! Volunteers need to be trained and certified so that the soccer season can begin! Check out the Volunteer FAQ for more info!

Announcing Sunday Soccer + Skills Clinic!

As part of registration, every player in 8U and up is eligible to participate in a bonus afternoon of soccer on Sundays on Sep 18, 25, and Oct 2. From 3:30-5:30, you can join a Skills Clinic, a Goalkeeper Academy, and small-sided pickup games for players in 8U and up. If it's a success, we'll continue throught the rest of the fall season! Learn more and sign up

Coaches

The coach education series is back! Sep 22, Sep 25, and Oct 3, come to the clubhouse at 6:30 for a seminar with Barry Ritson, director of LA Surf and member of the coach staff for the US youth national teams. What do Barcelona and the US National Teams do that your AYSO team can, too? It's seriously awesome; you should go!

Volunteer Training

All new and returning coaches should have completed their required training by now (online & "field") -- reach out to your DCA if you have not!
