Our study skills seminar has been developed by senior tutor Cody and is designed to help students build effective, sustainable study habits. It is particularly helpful for students preparing for high school, as well as high school and HSC students looking to strengthen their study approach.
This ninety-minute group session covers:
Sessions are held on Wednesdays and Fridays throughout January.
This hands-on program introduces students to the fundamentals of programming in a fun and engaging way. Delivered by Jake, the course uses Scratch, a visual programming platform developed by MIT.
Students will be introduced to:
Core programming and coding concepts
Logic and problem-solving
Elements of mathematics and basic graphic design
The program is recommended for students aged 8–16 with little to no prior programming experience, though flexibility may be possible depending on the student.
In 2026, NAPLAN testing will take place between 11–23 March.
Our NAPLAN test skills sessions are delivered one-on-one and are designed to help students feel confident and familiar with the test format. Sessions focus on:
Understanding test structure
Approaching different question types
Reducing exam stress through preparation
Sessions are available for Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 across:
Reading
Writing
Conventions of Language
Numeracy
Bookings are available during the January holidays (from 5 January) and on Saturdays throughout Term 1.
Our Year 11 preparation sessions are designed for students transitioning from Year 10 into senior studies. These one-on-one sessions are tailored to the individual student and focus on:
Understanding course expectations
Reviewing prerequisite knowledge
Introducing typical Term 1 content
Preparation is available for Mathematics and English at Standard, Advanced and Extension levels.
