Learning the Lesson of Sustainable Tourism Leadership
As Global Leaders, we pledge to adopt a comprehensive strategy for reset and recovery, engaging our destinations, businesses and local communities by developing action plans protecting our values and ensuring sustainability, and by learning and sharing experience through the Global Leaders Network.
On the 29th of June's meeting, 50 delegates from around the globe presented themselves and shared their sustainability experiences. 7 guest speakers reviewed the state-of-the-art of sustainable tourism leadership at country level. Slovenia, Estonia, Japan, Thailand, Brazil, Portugal and Guyana presented their country approaches, each of them from a unique perspective.
