Happy Fourth of July!

My husband's family has a long tradition of gathering at the family lake house in Maine for the fourth of July holiday. While not everyone is able to travel this year, my family and I are enjoying a week of kayaking, swimming, and relaxing.

And, of course, I will be writing. This is, of course, where I was inspired to write Kayaks, Kisses, & Monsters last summer. I am working on a new series (still in the very early planning stages) and I hope to be inspired while on vacation this year.

Kayaks, Kisses & Monsters

A summer of kayaking sounded perfect.
Until the lake monster appeared.

For Ellie, getting paid to spend her summer outside sounds like the ideal internship, even if it means paddling up and down a river twelve hours a day. Sure, she’s never actually been in a kayak before, but how hard could it be?

At least she knows how to set up camp at night. Unlike her co-worker. Though Clay may be captain of the crew team, she could teach him a thing or two about spending the night in a sleeping bag.

And then there’s the whole lake monster thing. Of course, Ellie knows water monsters aren’t real but Clay doesn’t seem convinced, especially after a boater goes missing. When mysterious accidents threaten her job security, Ellie starts to wonder why the “monster” wants her gone.

Fairytales don’t always work out the way you plan.

Jenn Taylor has been with her husband, Jack, since they were in college. They had a fairytale life plan. They were going to finish college, get married, and have three perfect children all two and a half years apart.

Before they knew it, the three perfect children become four not-so-perfect children. Jack and Jenn find themselves so busy keeping a handle on work and children, they don’t have the time or energy to keep the spark of romance in their marriage.

Jenn complains to her friends, who suggest she should recreate some of the scenes from her much loved romance novels and surprise her husband.

All the while, she is trying to contend with three boys who do not know how to stay out of trouble and an environmentally and socially conscious daughter who is trying to become a vegan.

Is her marriage doomed to stay in a rut forever, or will she finally succeed in bringing the romance back?

A reluctant heroine. Her fated mate. One soul crushing choice.

Despite being a tiger shifter, Lily Kaplan strives for a serene life. Unfortunately, being a Seer granted visions by the DayKing denies her that luxury. She is one of the Seers who are given visions of the location of the Keys that, when assembled, allow exiled gods to walk on Earth.

However, there is one who will stop at nothing to claim them.

Morgan, warchief of the daoine sidhe, seeks to rid the realm of Seers and claim the Keys. Out of options, Lily must meet the sidhe’s minions head on in battle. Yet when a small boy gets caught in the midst of the fight, Lily’s priorities shift to protecting him.

Through the boy, she encounters the greatest threat she has ever known.

Gaius, who claims to be the child’s guardian, awakens feelings within Lily she never knew existed. The undeniable attraction of a true mate. But, with a team of assassins hunting for her, that bond could create a weakness for her enemies to exploit.

In a choice between love or survival, will she follow her head... or her heart?

Unrepentant is a tiger shifter romance. The Seeking and The Reckoning are intertwined series that can be read independently.

A Rare Connection
When you're no longer alone, everything you have to offer is finally enough.

Is religion a need? How about love? What would you do if you had to choose?

Flirty, French, heiress Nicole Moreau takes her hard-working, American best friend, Andrew Leavitt, for granted, until he puts his education at UCLA on hold to serve as a missionary in South Korea for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She can’t understand his devotion, can’t seem to be happy without him, and can’t stop herself from interrupting his mission. Intending to propose, she botches the question and leaves heartbroken.

Andrew is deeply in love with her but doesn’t react fast enough to prevent a tragedy.

Caught in the crosshairs of the private war between her mother, a French Intelligence Agent, and a deadly North Korean unit of kidnappers, Nicole becomes collateral damage.

Can her well-meaning grandmother give her a second chance to choose truth as well as love so she can heal from a #MeToo secret with the power to destroy her? Or will her mother’s enemies exact the final revenge?
